"Grupo Mexico plans to sell shares in its railroad business in an
initial public offering, Chief Financial Officer Daniel Muniz said in an
May 21 interview. Grupo Mexico owns the Ferrocarril Mexicano SA, or
Ferromex, and Ferrosur SA railroad companies. A federal court upheld its
acquisition of Ferrosur, owned by billionaire Carlos Slim, which had
been halted by the antitrust commission in 2006 and prompted a
government probe."
